Introduction to the College

West Suffolk College is a world away from being at school. Here you will find you will have more freedom to make your own decisions and take more responsibility for your future. We will work closely with you to provide you with all the opportunities and support you need to help you succeed – but ultimately it is up to you to make the most of your time at College.

Being a student at West Suffolk College is about more than just gaining a qualification. We want you to come here and enjoy all aspects of College life and feel prepared for your next step at the end of your course, whether that is into employment or on to further study here or university.

We are very proud of our students and the confidence, independence and skills they gain with us and we love to hear about what they go on to do once they have left us.

As well as your course, we will also provide you with plenty of opportunities to make an active contribution to both the College and its communities. Getting involved gives you a chance to show future employers and universities that you have more to offer than a qualification – and you can prove it by enjoying yourself.
